This is Panther Beach, Northern California's Best Beach.
Enjoy expansive yet secluded beaches and picturesque scenery at every turn. Located just 15min north of the iconic Santa Cruz Boardwalk, this beach is known only to locals and visited by very few. During a Saturday, we only saw 80 people on this entire beach, a number unheard of for one of the nations most populated states. Natural rock formations create one of the most beautiful arches on the planet. UC Santa Cruz students party here throughout the day and night so bring some refreshments. This is by far, the best beach to relax and capture that picture!
Special Notes -
Water is cold, filled with rocks and occasional sharks.
Bring your own supplies.
No Bathroom.
Hike in and out is steep.
Be Careful on the cliffs.
